There is no conceivable way that plugging any firewire device into the firewire port of an external hard drive, and then plugging that drive into your computer via USB is going to work.  Never.  Not possible.  They are two distinctly different protocols, it&#039;s not a simple matter of plug size and shape.  Not to mention that the configuration of a hard drive interface is to be a particular kind of endpoint, not a server for additional firewire devices out there.</description>
